HR Advisor and Administrator

Salary from £30,000 p.a. DOE

This role would suit an individual who has a passion for people and who wishes to be a key player in positively driving the company’s culture whilst actively involved in individual and teams training and development. This role would suit an individual that has had hands-on HR experience at Advisor level who is confident at providing practical, business focused advice to managers at all levels. This role will contribute to the successful delivery of Navara Oat Milling’s HR function through supporting and reflecting the company’s culture, core values, aims and objectives.  The role will be accountable for ensuring the company always adheres to recruitment legislation and legalities, creating and implementing employee retention strategies, and taking a lead in colleague engagement activities, attracting, engaging and retaining the best talent. The individual will be great at building strong lasting relationships, have a professional and flexible attitude and the ability to work well under pressure, juggling multiple projects at the same time.

Role is full-time Monday to Friday with some level of flexibility required as our teams work shifts.

Health & Safety Manager

Salary £DOE 

This role will be the H&S lead and subject matter expert for the company, having a clear and solid understanding and knowledge of legalities, safety standards, guidance, rules, policy, principles and expectations.

The individual will have the ability to support and influence the business leadership team, being a strong team player and have the ability to engage with all levels of the business to identify risks and resolve identified issues.

This role is an on-site role, being present to develop and deliver a strong strategy for continuous improvement in health and safety and welfare culture through reducing risk, improving safety culture and improving safety performance, which is aligned to our values and our overall business strategy.

This exciting opportunity will provide expectation of understanding the safety responsibilities and expectations of all colleagues and have the ability to hold all accountable for their specific responsibilities, providing and educating a proactive approach to solutions.

Material Handler

Salary £27,040 per annum

This position is varied and is a flexible role operating between managing the automatic packaging system operation and all warehouse duties, including the loading of vehicles for despatch and receipting and storing goods received.

You will have the ability to demonstrate working to meet high standards, whilst being able to demonstrate reliability and enthusiasm for the role.  Previous warehouse experience with at least 1 years experience of operating counterbalance in a high volume operation would be beneficial.

Please be mindful that the role is of a physical nature.

Production Operative

Salary £27,040 per annum

The Production Operative role is responsible for the efficient production of high quality products through various parts of the milling and production areas.  The role covers stabilising oat groats throughout the whole oat milling process as well as being part of the production of finished mill products (flaking and flour), all of which would meet with our customer defined requirements.

Ideally you would have experience in working in a food manufacturing environment, ideally milling/grain milling, working with modern machinery and equipment in a safe and high-quality manner and are able to deliver the daily production plan, achieving departmental KPI’s.

You will have the ability to demonstrate working to meet high standards, whilst being able to demonstrate flexibility and reliability and enthusiasm for the role.
