Health & Safety Manager

Salary £45,000 per annum DOE

A unique opportunity to join a newly formed business, being part of a team where we welcome previous skill and experience.

The role will lead the Health & Safety for the company, having the ability to support and influence the businesses leadership team.

The opportunity exists to develop and deliver a strong strategy for continuous improvement in health and safety and welfare culture through reducing risk, improving the safety culture and performance.

Being the health & safety lead and subject matter expert you will possess a clear and solid understanding and knowledge of legalities, safety standards, guidance, rules, policy, principles and expectations.

Business Process Analyst/ERP Super User

Salary from £40,000 per annum DOE

This role will have a pivotal role in shaping our success in the oat milling/food manufacturing industry.  It will require a passion for business process improvement, technology, data analysis, IT and optimisation.  The role will become our internal ERP systems expert, gaining thorough, in-depth knowledge of all our business systems and applications, have the ability to analyse, design and implement solutions that will align with our unique needs.  The role will require strong relationship building across all teams creating an environment to challenge and optimise exisiting systems, identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows and being able to drive successful system integrations, empowering our business to operate at peak efficiency and enhance our customer experience.

Supply Chain Co-Ordinator

Salary £32,500 per annum DOE

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager this is a critical role in delivering operational plans which will optimise overall business performance, ensuring an enhanced customer experience.   This role will include monitoring stock availability, arranging transport, stock reconciliation, stock transfers, liaising with customs and dealing proactively with supply chain and customer queries and escalations.  The role demands strong customer service focus/co-ordination experience, strong communication skills both written and verbal, have superb attention to detail and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The role will be responsible for driving and overseeing daily supply chain KPI’s and SLA’s ensuring consistent performance tracking and providing focus requirements.

Working pattern would be Monday-Friday  9-5pm with some level of flexibility required.

Food Quality Technician

Salary from £27,040 DOE

We are looking for an experienced Food Quality Technician to support the team in delivering a range of quality products and services.

The role will work closely with the milling and production teams to deliver quality control and quality assurance capabilities across a range of products including whole groats, cut groats, flaked oats, oat flour and oat hull pellets.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of quality control/assurance in the food industry, highly organised and self-motivated, confident with IT systems, experienced in internal auditing, be able to make sound decisions and escalate critical issues.

Shifts are Monday – Friday inclusive, based on a 6am-2pm week one and 2pm-10pm week two, rotation pattern.

Hygiene Operative

Salary £24,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join our team.  A hands on physical role which will entail working within the milling and production teams, ensuring that the food production areas are clean and meet food and feed safety standards.

This role would suit a candidate with a proven track record of hygiene in the food industry, being highly organised and self-motivated.  Ideally the individual would be confident to work with tablet devices to record hygiene activities, have great attention to detail, be a great communicator with a continuous improvement mindset.

The role is extremely physical which will cover moving across six floors of the mill and could involve handling materials of up to 25kg. The role would require cleaning and re-assembling of removable parts of machinery and depositors in the production areas.

Shifts would be Monday to Friday inclusive (40 hours per week) either 8-4pm or 9-5pm.

Commercial Support Administrator

Salary £23,000 per annum

This opportunity is within a newly established role, which could be suitable for a school leaver, first role or someone who already has an existing passion for customer service.

The role is an integral part of the sales function, delivering excellent customer service and creating long term relationships with customers.  Being the first port of call for both existing and new customers you would support and manage a first class customer experience on behalf of the company whilst tracking and analysing commercial data, identifying and recommending continuous improvements to enhance service delivery.

Production Operative

Salary £27,040 per annum

The Production Operative role is responsible for the efficient production of high quality products through various parts of the milling, production and packing areas.

Ideally you would have experience of working within a food manufacturing environment, ideally milling/grain milling, working with modern machinery and equipment.  This role will involve flexibility and adaptability and demands a high level of physical activity.

Material Handler/Warehouse Operative

Salary £27,040 per annum

The Material Handler role is responsible for aa warehouse duties. including the loading of vehicles for despatch, receipting and storing goods received, stock counting activities ensuring that customer expectations and delivery OTIF is achieved.

Ideally you would have experience of working within a warehouse environment and in possession of RTITB counterbalance licence and have at least one years experience of operating a counterbalance in a high volume.  This role will involve flexibility and adaptability and demands a high level of physical activity.

Multi-Skilled Engineer

Salary £45,000 per annum

A further opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer has arisen within our currently expanding team.

The role will be responsible for carrying out engineering maintenance (PPM’s), repair and/or installation duties as determined by business priorities, ensuring objectives on safety, quality and output are achieved.

Ideally you will have experience working within a food manufacturing environment, being part of a shift/team which has delivered high quality products safely.  You will be required to work in collaboration with the operational teams, technical, packing and warehousing departments.

You will be experienced and have a proven track record of delivering electrical and mechanical maintenance and installation.
